I took 3 feet of 6/0 unwaxed thread and split in in half to give more latitude in tying. Used the herl from sword feathers for peacock herl. Hackled with ostrich herl.

Jack Mickievicz is an avid hunter and fisherman, 59 years, tying for about 45 years +/- a few. Earned a living running a flyfishing shop for 35 years. Should have practiced a bit before tangling with that 32.
