Hi,

Here's the correct prices for the standard Danish licence.

You can buy any of the licences on line at: www.fisketegn.dk

Hope it helps.

Hey Vanuz,

I never received any photographs...
Could you re-send them to me?

There is something fishy going on and I am doing it
There is plenty more fish in the sea...
Standby for a another weekend saga...

Steve - Sea trout are not just on Fyn!
You poaching in my water?

Many thanks.
Rip

those look really deadly, but any assortment should have a deerhair diver, clouser minnows, and of course, the venerable lefties deceiver. enricos mackerel aint bad either.

sinthetics are best for toothy critters. just curious, are those cupped plastic or action disc heads difficult to cast in a stiff breeze?

[quote:ddc04adfef="Stephen Wade"]Vanuz,

As Ripley and Kai are having an affair.. . Do you fancy a bit of fishing? Fyn? October? :)

Steve! I think the materials for the Tabou Caddis Emerger need clarification. I can't find the colors you have listed. Also, is the chick-a-bou and soft hackle 2 different purchases? Thanks

At least, I'll call you at the beginning of October and hope we can figure out some conspiratorial meetings.[/quote:618f80ea6e]

well, well, well.... there is something fishy going on... and of course vanuz is not aware of anything... that's my treat for all those pics I sent to you...were they so bad?

Hey Kai,

I heard that Henning is a dodgy geezer ( ) and should not be trusted ( ).
Unless he gets out the whisky. Then he's great :D But he never does...

He has the pictures of your flies. Watch out in next months issue of "Fly Tyer" ( :? ).

Henning...
Sea trout are still coming in. Should I save one for you?

Kai...
I look forward to October.

Swoosh,

If you go any where in the salt at the moment you should connect with something. I am located in Jutland DK but if you want to fish Fyn maybe we could meet up.
Contact me.
Steve

Hi All,

I bet we can talk about GFF Summit '06 for a long time. Did i mention that í had a great day on the Friday at the summit? :P .

Kai when you come back to DK contact me and we can hit the coast again.

Shooting head? hmmm

Steve

Henning,

I have known you as a really honestly and kindly man.
But now I’m not longer so sure.
By trying to create a shooting head, my arms and legs are totally in tangle with the shooting line you’ve given me. My face and arms are covered with the Mucilin.
I should have been much more cautious by reading the name of the spool “Amnesia”!

By the way, what's the address I should send the money?

Thanks for all and hope we stay in contact!

Kai

8) Hi Kai

YES i have the picture of your secret flies.
If you send me some money i will not show the pic.

Thanks for a very nice summit.

Henning

Hallo Ripley,

I hope everything is well at home?!

At first special thanks to you again for the perfect guiding. You have done a very proper job.
At second, you are absolutely right, but I can tell you, I have another box of really strange flies (perhaps you've never seen before).
Unfortunately Kasper and Henning have managed to take some pictures of the box with these flies. So the secret is no longer a really one.

At least, I’ll call you at the beginning of October and hope we can figure out some conspiratorial meetings.

Hey Kai,

You shouldn't tell!
I know that pattern works and I saw the fish you took with it. It's a winner for sure.

I look forward to meeting up with you again in October.

Regards Kai and many thanks for the kind words.

Please disregard previous post. What I meant to as was is the brahma hen cape and soft hackle with chick-a-bou pelt 2 different items that one needs to purchase to tie the Tabout Caddis?

Is a brahma hen saddle and chick-a-bou pelt 2 different purchases? It seems the Bear Lodge Angler is selling them seperate.

What color combinations do you use the most and what size patterns? Is the body material and feather wing from 2 different chick-a-bou hens? I've been wanting to tie these but I am not quite sure about the materials. Thanks

Hi,
special thanks to Martin, Ripley and all the others, who make this summit real great!
What do you call it, when having 17 flyfisher on a row at the same coastline, with great fun for all and no stress?
The spirit of the GFF-summit 2006!!!
I couldn't imagine, staying at the shore of the Baltic Sea with so many people at the same time. But we all became good friends and one's for sure; I'll try to join in the next summit as the first one.

For "pike" I add a picture of my favourable fly. It's my autumn winner in hook size from 10 to 4.
I present it direct under the surface and fish it with short strips. Because of the volume of the fly, it is sinking very slow.

The finished wing looks too dense and heavy for my taste and will, I suspect, put too dark a shadow on the water. There are better options and, for the hassle, easier ways to create your wings. As for the tool itself - exposed rivets and the finish call to mind a very simliar Indian tool made by SUNRISE (very cheap and cheerful tools inc) at a fraction of the price. I wonder if this is another example of a repackaged tool? Conclusion: Not for me.

Since you got this far …

The GFF money box

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
