Summer is here in the northern part of our globe, and heat slowly takes over. So right now might not be the best time of year to plan a tripo to Turkey, but in a colder part of the year, it might not be a bad plan. Accoring to Tad Murdock's newly published article on fly-fishing Turkey this is - probably as a surprise for many - a very suitable destination for a fly-fisher. Thanks to it location it's jhome to a large number of different trout species, and Tad goes through a number of them in his article. You may need something different during the suimmer, and a podcast might be a suitable bit of entertainment for the hot days. Danish Ahrex hooks and fly-fisher, photographer and journalist Sore Skargaard have joined forces and produces a number of entertaining podcasts, which take the form of small shortstories. Well worth a listen. Apart from that there's the usual harvest of videos, patterns and reviews. Notheworthy is the book "The Klink" by Dutch Hans van Klinken. A true masterpiece, and a very interesting book for those into trout flies for the stream, parachute flies and not least the famous Klinkhamer Special - Hans' signature fly. Have a great summer everyone. Martin
